Kath has been a Foundation Governor at All Saints since 2006. Over the years, Kath has sat on both Teaching and Learning and Finance and Strategy sub committees and is currently Chair of Governors. She is also a member of the All Saints Church congregation and her daughter attended All Saints School until July 2010. Kath has stayed on as Governor as she is passionate about education, believing that children learn best in a safe and happy school environment. Kath also works full time as a Payroll and Benefits Manager for a care company in Somerset. If she has any spare time, Kath enjoys helping with her daughter’s pony and spending time with family.
Mrs Suzanne Chambers - Foundation Governor
Suzanne Chambers was appointed as a Foundation Governor in September 2015. She is a retired Primary School teacher who taught in primary and secondary schools after qualifying with a BE'd degree from Murray Edwards College, Cambridge.She is on the Teaching and Learning Committee with an interest in History and Geography. In recent years she has served as a Director and Trustee for a Christian based charity providing student accommodation for International Post Graduate students in Bristol and has always played a very active role in parish life. She attends All Saints Church East Clevedon and is a committed member of that parish where her husband serves as one of the church wardens. Suzanne has two grandchildren who live in London and is passionate about Education and community life.
Mrs C Heysham- Parent Governor- Chair of Teaching and Learning.
Clare has been a Parent Governor at All Saints since joining the school in September 2012. She sits on the Teaching and Learning Committee and is the link Governor for Mathematics. Clare has two young children (both currently attending All Saints) and works part time as a Primary School Teacher in Bristol. She has been a teacher across the Primary age range for 13 years. Clare is committed to raising standards, developing inspiring learning opportunities for all and helping enable the children of All Saints School to grow into confident, happy and inquisitive citizens.
Mrs Rita Barnard - Co-Opted Governor
Rita joined All Saints Governors in 2013. She sits on the Finance and Strategy committee with a focus on school finances and she is the link Governor for Training and to St David’s class. She retired from City of Bristol College as a Finance Manager and is currently Treasurer of AAT Bristol Branch in a voluntary role, organising CPD for AAT members. She is passionate about education having worked in a college of Further Education for 21 years. She is grandmother to two children who previously attended All Saints School, both of whom now attend Clevedon School. She also has 3 granddaughters who live in Cornwall.
Ms Jennie Baker - Co-Opted Governor
Jennie has been a Community Governor at All Saints school for 10 years. She sits on the Teaching and Learning committee and is the link Governor to St Georges class. Jennie has been involved in Horticulture for 30 years and is a self employed gardener, carrying out garden maintainance.
Jennie has her work cut out at the moment training her young Jack Russell pup L.D.and enjoys Tai Chi and the art of Chi Kung (standing still!!)
Mr Anthony Phillips - Co-Opted Governor
Anthony joined the All Saints Governing team in 2015 on the Teaching & Learning committee. He has 14 years experience in the Education & IT sector. He currently works as a Consultant and Teacher Trainer for an award winning IT system called Firefly. He was previously an English and Drama Teacher, teaching GCSE and A-Level. He has also worked for Espresso Education, Channel 4 Learning, and Promethean Whiteboards. He graduated with a BA Honours in English and Linguistics. Anthony is also a professional drummer, and has worked with some well known artists including Sam Smith. He also performed as main support for Adele, Paloma Faith & Alesha Dixon. Anthony has been settled in Clevedon for 8 years with his Bulgarian wife and has a 4 year old bilingual son. He joined the All Saints Governing Body to gain a better understanding of school operations, to add his experience in areas that may not be well covered by existing governors, and to try and benefit the children's learning experience as far as possible.
Mr Adam Stewart - Co-Opted Governor
Adam joined All Saints board of governors in 2016 and sits on the Finance and Strategy committee. School age siblings and a young family of his own brought standards of education into sharp focus for Adam and persuaded him to get involved as a Co-Opted Governor. Having lived in North Somerset for most of his life Adam returned to the area after completing a masters degree in 2006. He has worked in the public sector for 11 years, most recently as an Operations Manager and Programme Director. Adam hopes that his strategic background and business acumen will be of great benefit to All Saints and is enjoying developing his knowledge and understanding of the school, the education system and pedagogy in general.
